Her Musical Journey
Thelma J. Robinson embarked on her musical voyage of artistic discovery as a youngster, growing up listening to Gospel music legend Mahalia Jackson and notable jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, both which have played influential roles in shaping her signature sound. Throughout the course of her life, Thelma has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Performing at a variety of venues, making dozens of appearances and recording projects, Thelma has earned the admiration and affection of countless fans, serving as both as an inspiration and role model.
Calling Aiken, South Carolina home, Thelma began seeing professional success around 2002, with the release of first acclaimed work “Waiting On The Lord”. Since her first musical project, Thelma released two additional albums “Heal The Land” (2003) and “Pressing On” (2009).
Thelma seeks to offer encouragement and hope to her fans by creating and performing original music that she is proud to call her own. She is married to Kenny Robinson and they share three children, Andras, Thea and Kellie.
